Parish Church. C14 chancel, rest rebuilt 1854 - 5 by Benjamin Ferry.
Randomly coursed Mount Sorrel stone, sandstone ashlar dressings, plain
tiled roofs, half timbered porch. Western tower, nave, aisles, chancel,
south porch. The two stage tower has angled buttresses to first stage only,
a chamfered offset to the belfry and hipped roof. To the belfry stage are 2
light openings with ogee heads to the lights. In the west wall are 2
lancets with cusped heads and quatrefoils. The north aisle has a central 3
light window with ogee heads to the lights and a four centred arched
opening, flanked by similar 2 light windows. In the east end of the aisle
is a further similar window. The Chancel has a C19 3 light window in
Decorated Geometric style. On the south side is a C15 2 light window with
ogee heads to the lights and rectangular surround and a similar 3 light
window. The south aisle has a 2 light east window and single 2 light and 3
light south windows, as the north aisle. Half timbered south porch and C19
south doorway. The interior has 3 bay nave arcades with pointed chamfered
arches and octagonal columns. Matching chancel arch, All fittings including
the pulpit and font are C19.
