Late C18 facade. One building. Red brick with stone band between 1st and 2nd floors.
Moulded wood eaves cornice and slate roof. 3 storeys - the top one slightly later.
Originally a 4-windowed facade with keystones, some windows now altered. Ground
moor has C19 shop fronts each with cornice, architrave and buys projecting either
aid. of centre doorways. Glazing bars missing. North side with added reproduction
pilasters to door. Central doorway, giving access to Bennett's Yard at rear, has
a fanlight and flat hood on moulded brackets. Rear elevation of No 30 has 2 earlier
gables. No 31a at rear of front of No 31 (end part of rear cross wing).
