TF 24 SE FRAMPTON HUBERTS BRIDGE
10/53 Barn at Elms Farm

Former barn with saddlery attached, now partly loose box and
stores. Early C18, altered C20. Red brick in English bond,
steeply pitched pantile roof with brick coped tumbled gables. 2
storey with plinth, having 3 offsets on top and corbelled out
eaves. On the front are later brick lean-to addition,
incorporating original advanced entry bay. In the left hand
gable a planked door and 2 fixed lights with louvres beneath.
All openings with segmental heads. In the gables are initial
ties "IT". Interior retains opposed advanced entry bays and
Queen strut roof with staggered butt purlins. Elms farmhouse is not
listable.
