TA 10 NE RIBY MAIN STREET

6/131 Church Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse, early C18 with C19 addition. Brick with ashlar
dressings, pantiled roof, raised stone coped gables with
kneelers, 2 brick gable stacks. 5 bay 2 storey front, central 6
panelled door with 3 paned overlight and wooden surround with
narrow hood supported by scrolled brackets, contained in advanced
brick entry bay. Flanked by pairs of glazing bar sashes. On
the first floor are 5 further similar glazing bar sashes. All
windows have brick segmental heads and relatively thick glazing
bars which are probably original.
