House and public house. c.1870. Painted brick. Welsh slate roof. Red brick end stacks.
PLAN. One single public room entered directly from front entrance.
EXTERIOR. 2 storeys. 3 bays with central doorway together with a further lean-to right. All windows 3-light centre-opening casements except upper window in lean-to bay which is a 2-light casement. Dentil course beneath the eaves.
INTERIOR. Single public room with red tiled floor and a pair of high-back settles, the backs of which define a corridor running to a plank door leading to private accommodation. The settles are secured to the ceiling by iron bars. Fixed bench seat under window. Fire surround of c.1925.
A now extremely rare example of a rural beer-house with retains its single public room intact.
