Early C18 (1721) brick house of 2 storeys and attics. Double Welsh slate roof.
3 gabled dormers. Double Welsh slate roof. Stacks at gable ends. Wood eaves
cornice. 5 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, wood frames. Attractive
later small semi-circular porch projecting on slender columns. Door of 6 panels,
2 glass. Modern extension to left of 2 storeys with 4 windows in similar style.

Gamlyn's Almshouses, Nos 3 to 8 (consec), Former Stables to No 3 and Garden Wall
to the south of No 4 form a group.
