Earlier C18 house of 2 storeys plus basement and attic. Later C19 one bay south wing.
Main block of 5 bays arranged 3:3. Weatherboarded north-west wing, remainder in red
brick. Left bay of main block of round headed doorway with patterned fanlight and
panelled reveals. Cast iron column support porch. Original pilasters frame doorway.
Flush framed double hung sash windows, except first floor of left bay which is
recessed C19 type. Glazing bars to right 2 bays and later window. Tiled mansard
roof with casement windows and heavy chimney stacks. Later C19 wing with segmental
headed sash windows and cement cornice band. Hipped tiled roof with central chimney
Earlier C18 staircase with closed string.
