Set at right angles to the road. Two storey, 2 + 2 window house, now whitened
cement with slate roof. Main front onto garden. Irregular at rear with projecting
wing and door. Plaque to Sir James Murray lived here 1870-1885. Founder Editor of
the Oxford English Dictionary.
