Early C18 house with early C19 stuccoed front of 3 storeys, 3 windows. Banded
rusticated ground floor to 1st floor band. 2nd floor string supported on side
pilasters of 1st floor windows. Mutule cornice and parapet. High pitched hipped
tiled roof. Replaced sashes with glazingbars, those on 2nd floor in moulded architrave
6 panel door, top glazed, in rusticated surround forming voussoirs with mask on
key block. Doorcase with attached Ionic columns, pulvinated frieze and modillioned
cornice.
Inside complete original panelling and 2 original marble fireplaces. Original
staircase with cut string and carved tread ends, spiral balusters 2 to a tread
on lower flight and 3 above. Original floor boards. Later elliptical arch on
fluted columns in hall.

No llA, Nos 13 and 15, Nos 17 to 21 (odd) (THE SYCAMORES) and No 23 form a group.
