Lodge, formed of 2 flats. 1934 by R Toms and Partners for the Bell Property
Company. Painted brick with green pantiles to mansard roof. L-shaped. One storey
with attic. Metal Crittal windows with glazing bars, sloping tile sills, and drip
courses over. Hipped mansard roof. East elevation: 2 bays with left bay projecting
as gabled wing and having a 4-light window to each floor and curvilinear gable with
concave tile kneelers and concrete coping. Right bay has 2-light windows to ground
floor and attic dormer. Left return, of 5 bays, has central recessed entrance;
narrow 1-light windows; central 2-light dormer; and stack on right with terracotta
pots (one replaced). Interior not inspected. One of a pair of lodges to Ealing
Village and originally occupied by the head caretaker and gardener.
