Early C18 and earlier. 2 storeys and attics. Double pitched tiled roof. Chimney
at back. 5 windows wide; flush framed sashes with glazing bars, 12 panes. 1 centre
door, 6-panel, moulded and fielded, with semi-circular fanlight, radiating bars.
Pedimented doorcase, Doric order, with 2 flat side pilasters. Flat string at eaves
level. Gauged brick square heads to windows. House much altered and additions at
back. House of some historical interest. It has been closely connected with Merton
College, Oxford.
