Engine House 1897: Engineer - Lewis Angell. Grey gault brick in free classical
style. Engine House contains two beam engines built by Lilleshall Co, in 1895,
installed in 1900: Woolf compound rotative beam engines; two pump barrels one directly
coupled to the high pressure piston. Listed as fine examples of late 19th century
steam technology.
