Circa 1742, by Sir Robert Taylor. Tall Corinthian column. Whitened Jasper. About 30 ft high. Square plinth. Square block of entablature and an urn on top. It commemorates Edward Godfrey (d 1742) who was Taylor's early patron. It cost £1,500.
