C18 early. Brown brick with red brick dressings and parapet. Roofs not visible.
Moulded brick bands between floors. 4 storeys, 2 windows each. Gauged brick
arches and flush frames with glazing bars (Nos 78 and 80 with recessed frames).
No 80 has rusticated stuccoed ground floor with round arched door and windows.
Remainder had wooden shop fronts all now replaced by garage doors, but existing
fascia boards and outer framing of the shop fronts has been retained. 4th storey
altered (possibly later addition).
The Grapes Public House and Nos 78 to 94 (even) form a group.
