1905 by Niven and Wigglesworth. Neo Georgian style. Stock brick with red brick
dressings, steeply pitched hipped slate roof with brick eaves cornice. Cupola
with clock and weather vane. 2 storeys and dormers, 5 windows flanked by advanced
portion with a door each side. Dormers with hipped roofs, below, windows have
moulded architraves, ground floor semi-circular drip moulds above as pediments.
Door bays have flanking pilasters with Ionic capitals and swags above. Entire
ground floor rusticated brick below sill height. Doors with heavily moulded archivolts
with keys. Panelled doors with semi-circular heads.

The listed buildings on the north and south sides of Garford Street are linked
by the C19 roadway surface and form a compact group.
