Circa 1840. A pair of 2 storey and basement houses, the whole is 4 bays wide with
the inner bays advanced and the Ionic porches almost filling the angle formed with
the narrow recessed outer bays. The front elevation is stuccoed, the return
elevations are of yellow stock brick and there is a hipped slate roof with a pair
of dormers astride the party wall, their fronts stuccoed and the cheeks slated.
The full-length ground-floor windows of mullions and transoms are 4 lights wide
and screened by cast-iron verandahs with tent roofs.
The first floor windows are of round-headed sashes framed by architraves with key
blocks. They are 3 lights wide in the advanced bays and one light wide in the
outer bays. The dormer sashes are also round-headed and there is a central stack.
