Late C18/early C19 terrace of houses. Stock brick with coped parapet, mansard
slate roofs with large chimneys. Part of Nos 9, 10 and 16, rebuilt. Stucco band
at 1st floor sill height. 2 storeys with dormers and basements. 2 windows each.
Dormers with cambered heads, sashes and casements. Ground and 1st floor windows
with gauged brick arches, sashes and glazing bars. Round headed doorways with
fanlights and fluted pilasters.

Nos 1 to 16 (consec) form a group with Nos 3 to 8 (consec) Flamborough Street
and Nos 17 to 31 (odd) Barnes Street. This group surrounds York Square.
