Factory. 1903-4. Designed by Charles E Dawson and W T Walker. White and green
glazed brick; stone dressings. Tiled roof,2 storeys; 10 bays wide, the second and
ninth bays set forward slightly and domed; elaborate iron finials; entrances to base
of each, that to left with shell hood. Segmental hooded entrances to outer bays.
Windows round headed to ground floor (now partly blocked); square headed above;
mullioned and transomed canted bay window to upper storey of left bay. Frieze below
eaves to centre 6 bays, formerly with words "Frame Food." Further frieze between
storeys, retaining faience paterae. Similar paterae also to upper stage of towers.
Rare example of factory in Arts and Crafts manner.
