Semidetached villas as one. c.1821-26 by John Nash as part of his Regent's Park
Crown Estate development. Main front to park, entrance to rear. Stucco, slate
roof. Unified temple front composition. 2 storeys. 3 windows in all with
centre blind and recessed 1 window wings. Recessed glazing bar sashes. Centre
is fronted by engaged Greek Doric pedimented portico with triglyph frieze and
mutuled pediment. Wings have ground floor sash and blind window above; finished
off with cornice and blocking course. G.L.C. plaque records residence of Sir
Charles Wyndham. John Nash; John Summerson.
