Shop and commercial premises. c.1870-80 with mid C20 shop front to ground floor. Red
brick and stucco dressings. Eclectic design. Four storeys. Three windows wide.
First floor has broad canted bay window of 6 wood casement lights and entablature.
Second floor has ornately architraved and crested 2 light window flanked by shell
headed niches in which stand figures (formerly supporting lanterns?). The upper floors
are framed by stucco shafts to left and right, their eclectic details changing with each
storey and rising to cornice and blocking course with tall shaped brick parapet, the
stucco coping scrolled into open pediment cresting.
