Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Coursed rubblestone, ashlar dressings and spire,
pitched slate roof to eaves. Decorated style. Broad multi-gabled form with
north tower of 2 stages with recessed broach spire. Nave: Full height galleried
aisles to north and south. Entrances to north, south, and west. Elevation to
Chester Square of 5 gabled bays the centre taller and broader with 5 light
traceried window. War Memorial Chapel to north-east with apsed end. Interior
contains 2 south windows of 1882 by Morris and Co and west window by Hugh Easton, etc.
