Terraced town house. c1748-50, with c19 alterations. Black painted brick and
channelled stucco ground floor, slate roof. Three storeys, basement and dormered
mansard. Stone cornice and parapet. Four windows, revealed sashes, vermiculated
voussoirs to arches of those on ground floor, stucco architraves to second floor
windows. Inserted Victorian hotel entrance flanked by Corinthian pilasters and ornate
cast iron lampstandards. Cast iron area railings and Victorian balustraded and
bracketed balcony to first floor. Fire damaged 1984.
