Former National School now restaurant. 1826 with additions 1870. On site of Medieval
Priory building illustrated in the Gentlemans Magazine for November, 1826, page
401, and repeating many features with slight variations. Coursed squared rubble,
tiled roof with kneelers and stone coping to 2 gables. 2 storeys, slight left
central projection. 1:1:2 windows, ground floor wide casements, 3 light under
dripmoulds, 1st floor 2 similar windows and 2 pointed arched with dripmoulds and
tracery. Left central pointed arched footway.
