Two houses. "IWI 1687" (Winterbottom) on door lintel
although with alterations and additions of later dates.
Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate
roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys with wing to rear. Projecting
plinth and rough quoins. Central door has chamfered surround
and dated lintel. Plain window opening to left and 4-light
recessed flat-faced mullion window to right. 3 and 5-light
windows (as above) to first floor. Gable chimney stacks. Two
2-light gable windows one of which is blocked. 1-light
double-chamfered window to rear. Rear range has 3-light
recessed flat-faced mullion windows on each floor and other
altered window and door openings.
