Terrace of eight houses. 1820s. Brick with stone dressings and
hipped slate roof. Three storeys with basement, three bays to each
house, central house and No. 1 have five bays; no. 7A has two bays
and later porch to return. Central five bays and two bays at each
end project. Stone lintel band; 1st, and 2nd-floor sill
bands; top frieze, cornice and blocking course. Windows have
wedge lintels and are sashed', most without glazing bars.
Entrances have angle pilasters and entablatures, mostly half
glazed doors. Plain iron area railings. No.1 has three
rectangular iron balconies to 1st three bays of 1st floor, No. 3
has three mid C19 rectangular iron 1st-floor balconies. No. 4 has
Doric porch and iron 1st-floor balcony extended over porch.
Windows in line above entrance have architraves, that to 1st
floor with frieze and consoled cornice. No. 5 has iron
1st-floor balcony. No. 6 is stuccoed with rusticated ground floor
and 1st floor windows with eared architraves and iron
balconies. Nos. 7 and 7A have iron 1st-floor balconies.
