Mid C18 front range of rubble with ashlar quoins and stone slate roof. Older
cottages behind. Two and a half storeys and cellar. Two gabled dormers.
Coved eaves cornice. Four windows, sashes in recessed moulded frames. On
ground floor: 2 angled bays - later ashlar base to early C20 shop windows
under continuous fascia and with central door. Six panel door to left. Now
a hardware store despite its sign for family grocery business. Good ashlar
chimney to right hand side. Two storey stone tiled extensions to rear of
C17 and early C18 date. Dado panelling to staircase.
