Stable block. Early C17. Squared coursed limestone with chamfered plinth, quoins
and coped gables. Stone-slate and C20-tile roofs. 3 bays. 2-storey, 3-window
range of 2-light mullioned windows with hood moulds and labels to ground floor
and two hinged casements with wood lintels to first floor. 4-centred arched
chamfered doorway to left and elliptical-arched chamfered doorway to right.
Plank doors. Above doorway to right a chamfered circular pitching eye. 3-stepped
mounting block to centre. Right gable end has large moulded sundial. 3-light
mullioned windows below. Large C19 one-storey stone extension to rear has two
4-centred arched doorways and 4 gabled dormers with 2-light mullioned windows.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
