Row of 3 cottages. C17 with C19 additions. Timber framed with plastered infill.
Old tile roof and two C19 brick ridge stacks. 3-unit plan, with C19 parallel
range added to rear of Nos.1 and 3. Two storeys; 3-window range. C19
four-panelled doors; No.5 also has plank door to passage. No.1 has half-glazed
door and C19 shop front with rectangular bay window with glazing bars. C19 iron
and early C20 casements with glazing bars. Gable end to School Road has exposed
framing and later addition to ground floor. Wing has smaller parallel gable and
brick stack on corner. Rear wing plastered; brick ridge stack. Rear of No.5
largely rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Interior not inspected.
