Public house, originally 2 houses. c1830. Front elevation red brick is Flemish
bond with mathematical tiling to bows, side elevation red and grey chequerwork brick
all in sandstone plinth. Hipped slate roof with tall end chimney stacks. 2 storeys,
4 windows. The 2 outer windows are curved bays through both floors with tripartite
sashes (28 panes) hung with mathematical tiles. The others are 16 pane sashes with
moulded architraves. Former southern house has narrow Tuscan porch, former northern
house has public house front with Tuscan pilasters and doorcase.
