House. Late C16 or early C17 altered and extended to right hand side in C19.
Original portion of 3 bays has a ground floor of brown brick on sandstone plinth
and 1st floor tile hung, with alternately 2 courses of plain tiles followed
by 2 courses of pointed tiles. Horsham stone slate roof. 2 storeys attics
and basement. 3 modern mullioned windows. Central C19 wooden gabled porch.
Left side elevation attic has iron casement window with diamond panes. The
rear elevation has a massive tapering chimney stack of the late C16, sandstone
at the base and brick at the top. Extension to right hand side is of 2 storeys
and lower elevation. Brown brick with plinth and Horsham stone slab roof.
1 casement window. Rear elevation has simple doorcase with plank door and wooden
weatherboard. This building is shown on a 1638 estate map.
