C18 building probably dating from William Hayley's time. One storey. Four
windows. Four-sided front containing four sash windows, each flanked by red
brick pilasters rusticated with rough uneven flints intended to look like
shells. Brick modillion cornice and parapet. Roof and glass missing. The
building backs onto the Stables of the Old Cottage (qv 14/82A).
