Long range of houses containing a double curve. Small early C19 houses in
a very smart condition. 2 storeys. 1 window each except No 1 and 1A which
have 3 windows and Nos 2 and 3 which have 2 windows each. Stuccoed. Eaves
cornice. Slate roofs. Sash windows in reveals in flat arches except for
Nos 1A and 1 which have sash windows with flush boxes; glazing bars intact
except for some windows. Most of the houses have round headed doorways
with semi-circular fanlights but No 1 has a doorway with pilasters and pedi-
ment; and Nos 4 and 5, 6 and 7, grouped in pairs, have flat arched doorways
with doors and semi-circular fanlights in reveals behind. Nos 35 to 38 have
doorways with fluted frames; flat hoods over. Segmental and flat arched
doorways to Nos 39 and 40 respectively. Some doorways have their original
2, 4, 5 or 6 panel moulded doors eg Nos 2,3, 13, 14, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23,
24, 25, 27, 31, 32.
