Hall-house, now house. Late C15 or early C16, with C18 wing to rear. Timber-
framed, exposed on first floor with painted brick ground-floor on low rubble
stone plinth, and plaster infilling to frame above with some curved braces.
Plain tiled hipped roof with gablets. Tall brick ridge stack to right. 3 framed
bay hall-house plan. 2 storeys and attic. Irregular fenestration of 3 windows
on first floor and 4 windows on ground-floor, casements. Later C20 1 storey hipped
roof extension projecting to right. Entrance with panelled door and flat hood
on brackets area, on left return front. C18 half-hipped wing to rear, weather-
boarded to east with small outshut to north. Tile-hung on first floor.
Catslide extension at right end of building. Interior: Substantial frame with
heavily jowled posts. Large inserted brick stacks and inserted floor in central
bay of frame. Queen post roof with some sooting of rafters.
