Terrace. Early C19. Grey brick headers with red brick quoins and dressings. Deep flat wooden eaves cornice to slate roof with nine brick lateral ridge stacks, each to right of house below, except for No 36 with stack to left. Single flat-headed dormer over No 30. Three storeys; single window front to each house, making a nine window terrace, each house being separated by a thin red brick quoin. Glazing bar sashes throughout in red brick dressed surrounds with gauged heads, those on the second floor shallower than below. Arched red brick dressed doorways to left on Nos 22-30, to right on No 20, all panelled except No 24, with a half-glazed door. C20 double shop-front on ground floor of No 32 with inset central glazed door. C20 single shop-front on ground floor of No 34 with glazed door inset to left.
No 36 (The Lansdown Arms Public House), has an extra window on the corner of the terrace with a curved profile and a further bay on Station Road. Ground floor with two plain public house-type windows, half-glazed doors on Lansdown Place and on Station Road, and doubled half-glazed doors on corner of terrace.
