Farmhouse, c.1600 or early C17 and in 2 stages. 1 storey and attics. 3-cell
lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Concrete tiled roof,
formerly thatched. An axial early C17 chimney of pink brick with sawtooth
shaft. Two raking dormers with C20 casements. Mid C20 casements and gabled
porch with half-glazed panelled door at lobby entrance position. At the left
hand gable is a moulded oversailing tie beam: the parlour cell at this end was
extended in early C17. Lintelled open fireplace in parlour. Clasped purlin
roof. A rear kitchen wing is of C17 but a later addition.
