Barn, late C17. 6 bays. Timber-framed and weatherboarded. Corrugated
asbestos roof, once thatched. On the south side is a C17 gabled porch at the
3rd bay from the west: a set of 4 boarded barn doors (opposing doors in north
side are missing). Heavy oak studding with prominent primary braces; many
timbers are reused. Bays are subdivided by a heavier post on each side. Long
arch braces at open trusses, most replaced by C19 bolted knees. Good 2-tier
side-purlin roof, the lower tier butted and staggered, and the upper tier
clasped and wind-braced. The porch has a single tier of purlins with wind
braces.
