House, latterly 2 cottages. Mid C16 and early C17. Timber framed with a
modern textured render. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 2-cell form. 3
windows, mid C20 metal casements. Lobby entrance with mid C20 gabled porch
and C20 door. To the right a C19 4-panel door. Internal stack. At the time
of survey (November 1985) the older right half of the house was under
renovation internally, with much close studding visible and evidence for
original chamfered and diamond-mullioned windows. Queen-post roof. The left
half of the house has the timbers exposed only on the upper floor.
