Farmhouse, now extended to form 2 dwellings. Late C16 with C20 renovation and
extension in similar style to left. Timber-framed, rendered. Plain tile roof.
Red brick stacks. 2 storeys. Original range 3½-bay frame. Garden front: left
section forms C20 extension of no special interest. Later square porch forming
lobby-entry, now blocked. Present entrance to rear. Casement and French windows
to ground floor, casements above. Diamond-set ridge stacks to left and right. To
rear gabled staircase wing to left and lower gabled wing to right linked by
single-storey range. C20 entrance to staircase range. Interior: some framing
exposed, chamfered jowled posts, studded walls. Relined inglenook with timber
bressummer and further blocked inglenook. C18 corner cupboard with pilastered and
keyed round arch,fielded panelling to lower doors. Clasped purlin roof.
