A C16 timber-framed and plastered building probably with an earlier core.
A cross wing at the west end has exposed timber-framing on the north
and south sides and is jettied on the upper storey on the north side.
A modern wing is built on the west end. Roof tiled, with a ridge chimney
stack with 4 octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases on a square
base with an ornamental tiled panel. Two storeys. Five window range
of C19 double-hung sahses with single vertical glazing bars. The interior
has exposed timber-framing and fine Tudor brick fireplaces.
