A C15-C16 timber-framed building with exposed timber-framing and plaster
infill. The origin 1 house stood at right angles to the road. Two storey
and attics, with a jettied upper storey. A later timber-framed and plastered
wing of one storey and attics was added to the east, making an L shaped
plan. Casement windows. On the west side there are some original windows
with moulded mullions. Roof thatched, with 2 dormers on the front (one
gabled). The west block has a C16 central chimney stack with 3 octagonal
shafts and the interior has a good C16 brick fire place.
