Courthouse, c.1840. 2 storeys, 5 windows. Gault brick with parapets;
rusticated stucco quoins and a band at 1st floor, a moulded painted stone
cornice with stucco bands above and below. Sash windows with flat arches of
gauged brick at 1st floor and round-arched heads at ground floor with
architrave and raised keystone of stucco; the sashes having thick central bars
in imitation of French windows. A slightly set-forward central bay has stucco
rustication up to 1st floor and quoins up to cornice level; the 1st floor
window is recessed between Doric half-columns. Pair of 3-panelled entrance
doors within a round-arched recess.
