House. C17, C18, late C19 and early C20. Brick walls in English bond, with some
altered openings, 1st and 2nd floor bands (moulded for the most part but plain at
the west side), some cambered openings, moulded brick plinth above a flint base,
stone mullioned 3-light window to the basement; sections to the rear have malmstone
walls with brick dressings. Tile roof, hipped at the front and gabled at the rear,
with wrought-iron eaves brackets. Tall block with lower rear wings of the late
c19: south front of 2) storeys, 1.2 windows. Casements. Former doorway now
filled, and replaced by a C20 entrance at the west end, associated with an L-shaped
covered way. The rear wings have walls of stone, brickwork, and tile-hanging. The
forecourt boundary wall (C17) is of red brickwork in English bond, with stone
weathered capping.
