Country mansion, replacing earlier building. Early and mid C19 and early C20.
Mostly stucco, with some brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond with blue headers:
most features plain but there are some architraves to window openings and a
south corner block has a low parapet with a moulded cornice and rusticated vertical
bands at the corners. Hipped slate roof. The north-west front is two storeys and
attic, 7 above 4 windows, with a wing projecting forward at the north end of two
storeys, three (side) windows. Sashes in exposed frames. Mid C19 classical porch
of a Tuscan order, with two columns in front of two pilasters, double doors. The
garden elevation has the oldest part recessed in the centre, with a verandah on
columns, large sashes, a mid C19 wing projecting at the south side and a larger
C20 wing projecting at the north side.
