House. Late C17, altered C18. Brick, old plain tile roof. 2 storey, 5 x 3 bays.
front has slightly projecting centre bay with glazed door in plain stone archi-
trave, over on stone carved brackets, is stone pediment. Above 12-pane sash
framed by stone Doric pilasters, standing on moulded stone cill, supporting stone
entablature, surmounted by brick cornice and semi-circular moulded brick pediment.
In other bays 12-pane sashes under rubbed arches. Moulded 1st floor string cut
by central projection. Moulded brick eaves. Roof hipped with, behind ridge
over RH bays, large rectangular chimney having arched panels with projecting
springer bricks and offset head. RH front of 3 bays has similar sashes, that in
centre on 1st floor in stone architrave and cill on stone brackets. Roof consists
of 2 hip-ends with central valley between. Interior has some C17 features surviving.
