House. Mid C18. Brick, front in header bond, slate roof. 3 storey, 5 x 3 bay,
with low wings to rear. In centre above 2 steps 6-panel door and radiating, with
wreathed decoration, fanlight, recessed in arched panelled reveal. Doorcase of
engaged Doric columns, broken triglyph entablature and open pediment. In front
each side C18 railings having column standards with urn finials, curving out from
corners of building to either side of entrance, linked by central lamp over-throw.
Either side of door 2 sashes without glazing-bars. 1st floor raised band and
12-pane sashes. 2nd floor raised band and wide 6-pane sashes. All windows have
rendered arches. Dentil eaves. Overhanging eaves to hipped roofs. End stacks
to front bays. Some C18 and C19 interior features survive.
