House. Mid C18 part earlier. Colourwashed brick, roof tiled. 3 bay C18 build-
ing, with straight joint at right to 2 bay refronted earlier building with
rear wing, fronting Stockbridge Road. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bay with C20
half-glazed door in 2nd bay from left. Large 6-pane sash with cambered gauged
brick head. To right 2 small C19 sashes with gauged brick arches. To right of
joint pair of 2-light casements under sample timber lintel. Above in C18 part
2 12-pane sashes either side of a 6-pane sash with gauged brick arch. To right
2 regular 6-pane sashes. Above 2-light casement in hipped dormer. Roof hipped
at right with brick ridge stacks near left end and just right of straight
joint. Inside dog-leg staircase with Chinese Chippendale baluster. Crinolene
room on 1st floor right with wide 6 panelled door. Ground floor right has
marble fireplace. Moulded timber arch to windowless passages that run on both
floors behind main rooms to rear wing.
