House, divided into two. Early C18, with C20 minor changes. Walls of brickwork
in blue headers with red quoins, slightly cambered rubbed arches with flat
extrados, 1st floor band, a central panel of red headers with a blue diamond
containing a brick incised MM. (Note: Dodds Nook MM 1721). Tile roof, catslide
at rear, with central hipped staircase wing. Symmetrical north front elevation
of two storeys five windows (centre blank). Old metal casements. Central C18
plain doorway with 5-Panelled (4 top glazed) door, within a C20 open gabled porch:
No 2 has a similar doorway (C20) at the fourth bay, with a glazed door.
Original dog-leg staircase in the rear wing, and dado panelling to a ground-
floor room.
