Stable block. Mid and late C18, converted to dwellings mid C20. Brick with
rubbed brick and stone dressings, old plain tile roof with lead roof to pediments.
Quadrangle with stable blocks around, originally with archways on NE and SE sides.
SE side, facing house aggrandised late C18, symmetrical of 9 bays, 1½ storey, on
plinth. 4 bays each side of wider and taller entrance bay now filled in.
Pilasters between bays and at corners, supporting cornice above and on each side,
to each bay rubbed brick arches with key blocks. The centre pilasters and arch
are taller. In panel in each bay 12-pane sash with rubbed brick head, and in
centre bay bulls-eye window, in rubbed brick surround, below C20 tall 18-pane stair
light with balcony. Either side of central bay runs moulded timber cornice. End
bays and centre bay have pediment with moulded timber architrave and above other
bays are 2-light rounded lead-roofed dormers. Roof hipped with small C20 stacks
in front of ridge. SE range of courtyard similar but given.C20 Adam treatment.
Other ranges have carriage and stable doors.
