House. Mid-C18 with early C19 alterations and additions. Brick with plain
tiled roof. Two storeys with dentilled eaves cornice; three bays; ground
floor windows have gauged flat heads and are 16-pane sashes; first floor
outer windows are 20-pane sashes and central window is a 16-pane sash;
central entrance has an open pediment, pilasters, 6-panelled door and
traceried fanlight. A large canted bay addition adjoins the right gable
end; two storeys with a stone modillion eaves cornice and parapet; windows
on both storeys have a stone sill band and gauged flat heads with stone key-
blocks; large 24-pane sashes to front elevation; other windows are blind.
Interior: ground floor room to left has beamed ceiling with large main beams
and also a large fireplace; moulded ceiling cornice in right ground floor
room. Large external brick chimney with offsets to rear left, now enclosed
by rear addition. The converted outbuildings adjoining the left gable end
are not included.
