House. C17, with some early C19 and early C20 alterations. Timber-frame
with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth under a tile roof. Two framed
bays aligned north/south with a central stack. East front: one storey with
attic formerly lit by framed gabled dormer, now blocked, with a 2-light case-
ment under the eaves. Ground floor has a garage entrance to the left, and
two windows to the right, a square bay under a lean-to tile roof and a fixed
window. Entrance between these has a gabled tiled canopy linked to the lean-
to roof and a panelled door. There is also a central porch of timber, probably
built in the C19. Framing: four square panels high with straight angle braces.
The dormer has V-struts in the gable. (RCHM, 3, p 199-200, no 24).
